"We Are Family" is the theme that runs throughout the Kauai County Farm Bureau Fair this year. Inside the Hawaiian Airlines Entertaintment Tent, KIUC is proud to present a lineup of performers that will keep you entertained virtually every hour at the fairgrounds.
Verizon Wireless Grand Opening night includes the Kauai Government Employees FCU $500 winner take all Black Out Bingo hosted by Kong Radio's Ron Wiley. Tsunami Taiko Drumming introduces the official opening blessing and ceremonies. A family salute performance features Larry Rivera and that highlights the evening while Las Vegas' own Tina Marie follows with another year of hilarious hypnosis at 10pm.
Kauai Community Federal Credit Union hosts Friday night at the fair with a 6:30pm $300 winner take all Black Out Bingo game hosted by Frank Delima and Kong Radio's Ron Wiley. Tina Marie returns for another evening of hypnosis and a GEICO FRIDAY NIGHT HULA FEST features Ka Lei Mokihan O Leina'ala, and then Tahitian drumming and dance follows with the Punua's Rohotu.
Oceanic Time Warner Super Saturday features a plethora of family fun beginning with the Kauai Government Employees Federal Credit Union annual Keiki Talent Competition for keiki aged 6-10 and 11-16. HMSA and MCDONALDS sponsor more family fun with the KEIKI OLYMPICS and KEIKI TALENT SHOW with poi, and watermelon eating contests, a hula hoop relay race, and performances by the KUGA KEIKI PERFORMERS and ALOHA DANCE STUDIO. The annual Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contest is at 4:30pm. Tina Marie returns for hypnosis, Oceanic Time Warner Black Out Bingo is hosted by Augie T. and Ron Wiley and music on stage is performed by both Jonathan Rivera's Green Stone Project and Revival..with lively music the theme on Saturday night.
Garden Island Federal Credit Union's Family Fun Sunday has more stage activity than ever before. It begins at 1pm with New Hope Kauai's Sunday Service, followed by GIFCU's $300 BLACK OUT BINGO, Tina Marie spices your Sunday with more hypnosis and Excel! Dance Studio makes their first ever county fair appearance on stage. The Sheraton Kauai Resort is also involved for the first time, hosting a $1000 Super Bingo grand finale including a $1000 drawing. Tina Marie's concludes her fair appearances with a Monster hypnotic finale followed by the return of Quake to the stage.
The Kauai Beach Resort will be hosting 8 performances of the EK Fernandez Maltese Family Circus, bringing lots of exciting circus suprises to all.
